The guy comes up with the same old lines as other hack used car dealers, we have no fees like all the other dealerships do. Wrong, I have spoken to at least a dozen other dealerships int he area and many of them have no fees. The people that owned it took good care of it. Who cares, the value of the vehicle is the value of the vehicle.....sentimental value is worth nothing to others. The people that owned it just had the head gasket replaced, you won't have to work on this car like all the others around here. Again I call BS, that car could throw a piston tomorrow just like any other 10+ year old used car. That's the risk we take with buying used....it doesn't warrant a $4000 markup.
Finally the famous line of every other hack used car dealer....I have been doing this for XXX years! If that were true, apparently you have never bothered to check out your competition and how they are doing a FAR better job than you of selling cars. Stop assuming your customers are idiots that you can lie to and rip off....better yet sell your cars at reasonable prices and stop all the rhetoric and dishonesty.
Follow up: We ended up purchasing a 2008 Subaru Outback LL Bean R3 from another local dealership. Newer and nicer car, no BS, No lies....and with a 2 year warranty for a grand less. As to your claims that "all the other outbacks around here will need work", this one was just inspected at the Subaru dealership and was given a clean bill of health!
After receiving horrible customer service at another dealership in town, we happened to see almost the same truck(only better) at Young's on a Friday evening. I don't even know why Im reviewing the place because I didn't even go there but once to meet the dealer for about 5 min. Oh yeah, thats why it gets 5 stars because I wasn't stuck in a dealership for 5 hours. My husband went down and came to an agreement with them on price which I would say took no more than an hour. He said they were straight forward and easy to deal with and very nice. Since it was after banking hours they needed the next day to deal with the bank. We were driving away in our new vehicle by noon. The best part is that we didn't have to sit down there for the whole day while they dealt with the banks!! Yay! Thank you soo much! That was the BEST car buying experience I have ever had in my life! We are so incredibly happy with our purchase!
Can tell in one call that this place is a rip off. Called about a 2005 Subaru Outback that they had on their site for $9995, better than $3000 what KBB/NADA say the car is worth from a dealer and what any other dealer in the area is charging for a comparable vehicle.
