Cannot tell enough people about this shop, Eric is a deity amongst mortals compared to other shops. Customer service can't be bested by any others. Operation is top notch and he always makes sure you get the right product, for the right customer, for the right application. Even after moving down to Boston I still go out of my way to support this shop and are more than willing to make the pilgrimage up to the shop. Custom builds, stock builds, parts & service you name it.. his game his on point. But the wheel builds are unreal. Tensioned, dished and radially more true than the ocean is blue.

Recently I was searching for my first cyclocross bike and stumbled upon the Niner BSB. I decided I wanted this bike and found Chain Line Cycles as one of NH's only Niner dealers. I called Eric and ordered a bike after some good/lengthy discussion over the frame size and component package. I did learn that the bike came fully disassembled and had to built up from scratch. Eric is a superb bike builder and when I took the bike home everything worked great; brakes, shifting, bottom bracket, headset, etc. Cables were cut to correct length and I couldn't be happier with assembly of this bike and its function. The additional benefit of working with Eric was the information I learned about the bike, cx riding, and the local cyclocross scene...as well some great riding tips. I couldn't have been luckier with stumbling upon this shop and meeting Eric. Thank you Eric!!!

These guys seriously want to share the happiness of being on a bike, above all else. I got my first serious bike with real parts (front and rear suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, etc.) from them in '10, and they went out of their way to make my bike safely ridable and enjoyable. I've went from having knee issues from running on paved paths and boring treadmills, to discovering the joys of how nature is away from civilization and getting a workout at the same time. In a world dependent on fossil fuels with many suffering from obesity, and with high risk of heart failure, cycling is a great path to a better world. Much cheaper than seeing a doctor for poor health in the future. I've since replaced it with a current higher end bike, but the level of service they offered me was so exceptional that it has yet to be matched. Seeing other bike shops closing down around me where I live now, I wondered if these guys were still around, and I'm glad they are. The people behind this bike shop are who I'd like to see more of in this world and they deserve some support.

Unparalleled customer service. 'The Extra Mile' is Eric's middle name. Very knowledgeable with a wrench and super detail oriented with his tune-ups and service work. Nobody knows the Lake's Region better; singletrack, gravel roads, whatever you are looking for he can get you rolling on it with whatever you need.

A great bike-shop by a true enthusiast who understands the differing needs of casual or expert riders. Offers options at different price-points and the work is done well and on-time.

Basically.. Just support Chainline. You'll find out quickly that this will be your go to shop. Scrap those cut rate bike part websites. Stop your endless tinkering in the garage trying to hammer out your fork seals with a flat head screwdriver and riding sketchy setups. Support a local treasure.
